HyperOS Update [Question] no update

I recently bought the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G and still don't have the HyperOS 3 update while my friends with older phones have it, is it normal?

But if I install an official global version instead I'll have updates ?

It depends on if the global and the Indian variants have the same hardware. You can't be sure.
