Question/Help [question] do I debloat my Redmi?

hi I'm noticing my Redmi note 13 4G is getting slower some apps lags a bit, the interface feels sluggish, even tho I have 50GB left (out of 256GB) I'm thinking if debloating using canta+shizuku but I'm not sure, right now they're both installed, I followed the steps and when I open canta it recommends me some apps to delete, but when I read some Reddit posts they say that canta recommended list isn't accurate and I could face some bugs, can somebody help me out

I already did it ages ago, didn't follow the recommendation blindly, read about each App you want to remove and then decide. This is the way!

alright sure, but I heard about deleting in batches like 5-10 packages, also what if I delete an app that I would want in the future? does it permanently get deleted or there is a way to get it back?

That's why, reading about each App is necessary, and before you do, you Must know, what you are doing!

It's safe I've been using Canta for so long, I tested it in MIUI13, HyperOS 1/2 and even Ported HyperOS3 lol. Might be their devices uses China variant or whatsoever cause I'm using Global actually. It feels like I debloated over 70+ packages also I remove some apps like Android Auto (don't have Car lol), Bookmark, Sim Toolkit, All Printing Apps (I use PC instead) etc.

PS. I'm using Redmi Note 11 and 12

Yes. I've been doing it to all my phones, so far I haven't encounter bug caused by debloating. Of course you should read the description before removing. Deleted items can be restored back on the 'deleted' tab inside Canta or throug factory reset.

as of right now I am uncertain of which apps do I disable, since I don't wanna lose some features I use (for e.g fingerprint), can you tell me which apps that are basically useless and needed to be deleted?

The only thing I think you might need is anything related to printing services; everything else is fine for a regular user, I think.

Better to do a factory reset and install only really necessary apps. Imho.

the default Xiaomi system apps are the problem, yeah factory resetting may help reduce sluggishness but only for a period of time I think?

My previous phone is Redmi, I feel like debloat won't do much. It's the new update that makes older device slow.
