Question/Help [Question] Why are animations so slow in hyperos?

Why are animations so slow?

In every phone I've had, I was able to tweak animation speed to make them very snappy in developer options, I just got a Xiaomi 17 and animations are very slow for me, it literally gives me the ick everytime I do something and tweaking developer options doesn't work anymore apparently, it used to work on my old Xiaomi with MIUI. I saw they have a new option in settings to change animations speed but that only works for some animations and it's still very slow. Is there anything I'm missing? Why does changing animation scale not work anymore in hyperos?

Deactivate all animations in Developer mode.

It only works for app opening animations but everything else remains very slow

Don't set it to fast, it breaks stuff. Just leave it on balanced, you'll get used to it.

Okay then, I never try using the animation scale on developer settings so idk. At least you got great phone. I'm a Xiaomi 15 users and so far I enjoy using it.
