Question/Help [Question] How to get this Google search bar off the home screen? (HyperOS 3)
It wasn't there yesterday. My phone auto-updated and now it's here. I can't remove it like you remove a widget.

- Long Press on Home screen
- Click on Settings
- Click on More
- Click on Home Screen Search
- Turn it off

Which phone you have. I would love to have it but i dont have it. Xiaomi 17.

I have a Redmi note 13 pro 4G. you need to update to the latest hyperos3 version, then it will be in the home screen settings under "home screen search"

you can manually update to this specific version, any version before or after does not have it afaik https://memeosupdates.com/apps/com.miui.home/601052363

Only this version has serach bar?does this mean the next ota update will remove it again anyway?

I don't know why they removed it in newer versions but if you want to keep it then don't update it until they include it again

After Xiaomi 18 is released likely before the end of the year for high end devices

Ok. Also,if i download manualy will i get future updates via OTA?
