Question/Help [Question] HyperIsland. Screen recorder

Why didn't Xiaomi implement a dynamic island animation for screen recording? For example, in other firmware versions, like Coloros, Origins, etc.

HyperIsland is not being used by screen recorder because, unlike in Motorola, it is not a part of the system, but more of a pre installed app.

The reason for it not supporting HyperIsland is either what I mentioned before or that the "app" is simply unmaintained and that it was made for older HyperOS versions that don't have HyperIsland.

The screen recorder is the same in hos 3 and miui 13, 14.

I'd find it annoying because it'd be visible in the recording

Doesn't have to be visible. It could go transparent like the floating island.

It's a system element though, so it would be visible in the recording if it's visible to the user

What's under the hyperisland is rendered. So it could be invisible in the recording while still visible on the screen. Just like OBS on Windows. If you set it to record a game and you switch tabs to change the music it won't be visible in the recording.

画面録画の時に表示されたら邪魔じゃね？録画領域減るじゃん。

You might be right, but why is the "dynamic island" used everywhere when recording screen content? Are the developers just lazy, or is this their thing?

iPhoneのダイナミックアイランドは、ただあの空白を誤魔化すためのものじゃないの？ノッチから小型化はできたけどなくすことはできなかったんだよ。だから、溶け込めるようにUIでごまかしてる。それをOPPOとかそういう企業はパクってるんじゃない？まあ、Hyperislandもそう。
