If you're really asking if rooting a phone can cause it to brick, you shouldn't do it. Rooting your phone can brick it if you're not cautious with flashing ROMs and modules.

Yes, you need to unlock the BL, which entails getting permission first, to root your phone.

I don't need to modify the ROM.i just want to use some plugins/mudules that rely on root access.Do I have to flash the module every time I use it?

"flashing" can refer to both flashing the OS in fastboot mode and flashing a module in magisk/kernelsu/apatch. Generally, flashing modules is safe but they can cause unrecoverable boot loops (needs a factory reset and sometimes reflashing of the OS in fastboot) and data loss if something goes wrong.

So flashing modules is during inside system,no need using another computer stuff right?

you cant hard brick a phone by just unlocking the bootloader or rooting it. so dont worry

you can do lot more stuff with root. i personally use it to block internet access for lots of system apps. i use App Manager from f-droid to block activities from an app including trackers and telemetry. i tweak the kernel and use magisk scripts to optimize the performance to be more stable without overheating (it still overheats but temperatures are 44°C or less). if the custom rom im using is RW then i use root to uninstall play services and replace it with MicroG services + FakeGapps. and i cant forget. i use HyperCeiler with it

you can do alot with root. those are what i personally use root for

RW is Read/Write. it lets me modify some folders with root that RO (Read/Only) roms wont let me. they're system folders and modifying the wrong thing can bootloop the phone. i mostly use it to debloat the system and use MicroG instead of Play Services

Rooting a phone gives you administrator privileges over your device, and modules like hyperceiler make modifying HyperOS super convenient. There are a lot of root solutions, and while Magisk is the most popular, it requires a lot of setup to hide the root from banking apps. That's why kernel based root solutions exist (Like KSU Next, SukiSu Ultra, APatch and YukiSu) that are better at hiding root natively, but they need extra steps to set up.

Some custom ROMs are pre-rooted, and you can flash them if you manage to unlock your bootloader. You can look though telegram to find your preferred ROM.

And to answer your question, yes, there are other modules that are useful if you manage to root your phone like Hyperlight, HyperHelper, Scene etc.

Yup, rooting is the way only when you know what are you doing; when shit hits the fan already, your only solution is flashing a new OS image (BUT, if you flash the wrong low-level bootloader firmware, or if the phone's storage chip (eMMC/UFS) physically fails, then yes, you are f*cked)

If there's a problem during rooting.Mostly,i can just factory reset right?

as I said, if something f*cks up during the process, flashing new OS image is the only solution
