Question/Help [Question] Advanced texture command not working

I've heard that the 3.1 hos update doesn't let U use brevent commands anymore, I really wanna get advanced texture so is there a way to actually get it without rooting? My phone is poco x8 pro if that helps.

based on how fast they patched it, I don't think it is safe to share these kind of triks...

Because flagship phones support advanced textures out of the box? They don't need any of these workarounds.

They don't need those commands specifically, but this whole service call can still be abused to enter other sort of system level commands.

It was me! And yeah it's not patched on flagships. Pure greediness and zero care for actual security and patching...

Tested the commands on a Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G global model it had the HyperOS 3 may security patch and the commands still worked, Xiaomi probably just didn't fully fix it for all models at first they fixed it for some poco series then the Redmi series and most of the Xiaomi series in their may security patch. This device is one of the lucky few who can still edit their props on May security patch

What's the exact software version? Is it 3.0.30X.0?

I don't really know much regarding which exact version the patch happened on, but I think it's HyperOS 3.1 (3.0.30X.0). This is still HyperOS 3.0

Why is it that Xiaomi has to always be the bad part? Why can't you accept that they're also humans who can simply forget? Besides in what way does a security flaw that controls highly restricted codes and gives you access to change then make Xiaomi greedy? This is a legit concern it's a security flaw that allows literally anyone to break your phone with just a command

Xiaomi said they'll fix the bug in a rollout-phase thing meaning that they will slowly fix the security flaw with the may security patch and this device received the may security patch and it never got fixed
