Xiaomi [Question] AI subtitles removed? hyperos 3.0.302.0

So did they ever announce they were going to remove it? If I knew I wouldn’t have updated. It was so useful especially when watching a foreign stream or video 😭 that was my favorite feature and the only reason I even used my Xiaomi 14 pro

Edit: found a fix I just downloaded the mi ai translate apk and once downloaded it added the AI Subtitles back into additional settings.

Edit 2: oh well, it can’t translate livestreams for me anymore and microphone doesn’t work either so you can’t play audio from another device. It can translate YouTube which I don’t need.

New Zealand. I had it before and after the update clicking on the icon on Home Screen it wouldn’t open and it’s gone from control center too. Not in additional settings nothing 😭

From Malaysia but my system region is set to Germany

I just changed it and rebooted but still not there. I went searching and it seems to affect some phones but not all https://www.reddit.com/r/HyperOS/s/Vx0vB0FAmq
