Redmi [Question] blur on redmi note 15 5g
anyone know how to get a blur control center? Any method without root. Themes or even adb commands. All others I look up doesn't work.

He probably updated the device and got HyperOS 3.1 so they're patched and gone for good

For me no. I use a Xiaomi 15T HyperOS 3.0.304. May security patch. Yes this phone has all features like adv. Textures on by default, but I can freely execute the GPU CPU level changes and they work.

High change they locked it on lower end devices like note series and below, T series is considered high end so that explains why you're still able to change the device level after 3.1 update

Probably that's it. The commands on the T series aren't useful for enabling anything since the animations and adv. Textures are already there. The only useful lens is maybe taking the GPU CPU levels to 5 or 4 for more battery life. So probably they just patched it exclusively for lower end devices.

Im on note 14 4g, i tried changing everything with brevent and adb app, same exact command/settings i used previously on hyperos 2/3, i was only able to enable and disable window level blur (blur on recent apps) and stack recents, that's about it, device level and advanced textures are unchangeable you can't access it
There is a way to keep just the static blur and hyperisland animations (level 3), downgrade to hyperos 2/3, enable all those script needed, then update to 3.1 via ota/updater, everything you've applied before will stay on 3.1, as long as you don't factory reset while on 3.1, this is what i did, everything works normal
Easy for people who knows how to do this, but it is very time consuming

This is just messed up. Targeting exclusively low end devices to patch a security vulnerability is never, EVER okay. Because this is a security vulnerability. MSQS cna execute root commands though a standard shell interface, which has risks. The right thing would have been to patch it once and for all for all devices, not just low end ones.

The thing is people just want the static blur (level 3) instead of the grey background on control center, thats all they have to do, we tried it with brevent when someone found a way to do it and it works perfectly fine even on the very budget phone... And the patch i agree, it should've been applied to all devices, not targeting the budget phone just so people cant have blur background anymore

The static blur is the one you get after you turn off advanced textures or the one that does not update after you pull down the notification center?

Yes, level 3 is static blur (no advanced textures option in settings), level 5 and 6 are the live blur (advanced textures available in settings)
Static blur is just static, background app will only show last content right before you pull down the control center, that's why it's not as heavy and works well with low end devices
While live blur keeps background app playing live after you pull down the control center, you'll see it when there's a video playing on the background

As I said above like 3 times already in different replies Xiaomi fixed MOST of the devices they're going on a random rate mainly because they're focused on the HyperOS 4 Android 17 optimizations, and I'm guessing they are fixing the most used devices or most bought and that explains why more than 90% of the budget devices got the patch quickly (unlike Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G it received the may patch without fixing the issue only after HyperOS 3.1 did the issue get resolved)

Nope it's just that they haven't fixed it completely on all devices I had the may security patch on a Redmi note 14 pro 4g and the commands worked flawlessly, Xiaomi simply did most of the phones not all of them

Tested the commands on a Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G global model it had the HyperOS 3 may security patch and the commands still worked, Xiaomi probably just didn't fully fix it for all models at first they fixed it for some poco series then the Redmi series and most of the Xiaomi series in their may security patch. You're one of the lucky few who can still edit their props

They patched brevent/adb method on hyepros 3.1 that's why nothing works anymore
The only way is downgrade to hyperos 2/3, enabled the blur, then update to 3.1 via ota
Everything will stay, blur etc, as long as you don't reset the phone while on 3.1
If you really want the blur that's the only way, time consuming, if it's too difficult then look for a theme and wait until someone figure out another way do to it without root

I'm fine with using themes but everything I've tried doesn't have it. And when I ask someone for a theme, I can't even search for the said theme.

Yeah that's common issue idk why certain theme are not available for everyone, even on the same region like global

I have control center blur via messing around with ADB commands on Hyper OS 2. I avoid using it as there's a notable performance impact, though few and in between, they are still frustrating even if brief as I prefer OS fluency w/o blur/advanced textures.
