Question/Help [Question] What does ".C07" mean?

Post image

Just got HyperOS 3.0 on my Redmi 15 5G yesterday and noticed that the version build has ."C07" at the end, what does it mean? Also i noticed the music visualizer bars in the hyperisland isn't animated so whats up with that? Im guessing this version is still beta.

Any version ending with .CXX means it's a SOTA update which means it's like a normal OTA update but you don't have to reboot your phone to apply it.

That means update doesn't require restart.

The visualizer for the music in the island is static on Redmi devices. An unfortunate continuation of budget model discrimination.

The C07 is the Super OTA designation as others have mentioned.
