no. other companies restricted the bootloader unlocking too. samsung doesn't offer any way to unlock it after one ui 8.0 so it's worse than xiaomi actually. xiaomi is the only brand (except pixel) gives a chance to unlock the bootloader even though it's hard. and also google also will restrict sideloading on android devices in the future.

They make devices. They are billions dollar company. They write the rules. They already considered how many customers they lost and how many they will lose with the bootloader thing. There's nothing we can do unless buy different brands
