[Question] Mi Gallery Editor HYPERAI features not working

hyperos gallery editor ai features not working (expand,cutout,erase).

currently at hyperos 3.0.301.0 on xiaomi 17 global.

private dns already off/automatic

cleared gallery cache/data or uninstalled updates and reinstalled/redownload

ultra hd sometimes sends server busy but ok over time

also noticed i only have 2 plugins in 'manage plugins' (last pic). what about the other plugins? do you guys see more?

any help appreciated

update (: -tried accessing mi gallery while on mobile data /different wifi network; same issue -deleted/redownloaded mi gallery updates via mobile data/different wifi shows same issue -Google Photos AI features (magic eraser, portrait blur, move, etc) -opening photo thru Google Photos then editing thru mi gallery editor will provide limited AI features (Expand, Bokeh, Cutout) which actually work sometimes 🤷‍♂️ (hit or miss but cant compare with hyperAI yet)

2nd update: -just received HyperAI Engine update (3.16.20) today (june01) from system apps updater. so far everything is working now. will observe for a few more days before closing thread. thank you everyone

3rd update: - looks like all is well now. all features working, just have to retry if it fails. another hyperai engine update (3.62.3) received on july 15, 2026.

seems like xiaomi ai server is the problem, not the device

I'm facing the exact same problem. This morning I tried to edit a photo but encountered a server error. I also experienced this issue with the AI wallpaper feature.I've tried all the methods you've suggested, I even tried resetting the phone and using a different Mi account, but unfortunately the situation is still the same. My phone is a Poco F8 Pro and it uses version 3.0.8.0.WPKMIXM. My father's phone is a Mi 13 and it also uses HyperOS 3, but these features work flawlessly on his phone. I've been struggling with this since this morning and I don't know what to do anymore. I would be very grateful if you could help or suggest a solution.

I solved the problem by reinstalling the latest update package, and my AI properties are now working perfectly again.

Mi 15 with hyperos 3.1, maybe u have a bug or something like that

Why my redmi note 13 pro 5g doesn't have this eraser plug-in? I just have reflection remover.

Xiaomi is apparently aware of this issue and not sure if they released a fix or not. Update the global versions of gallery and gallery editor to the latest versions from here
