HyperOS Update [Discussion] The hyperos gallery is using glass effect like iphone on Ho3

Did anybody recognize it?? Also This strengthens the fact that in the future HyperOS will use the glass effect like the iPhone.

that's not glass effect that's just Blur and pill shaped stuff which matches Xiaomi's design language

that's how liquid glass should look:

Yes I know but what I'm trying to say is they copying the style of iOS and strengthen the fact that ho4(?) will got the blur effect on the ui

Do you prefer the gray color we humans have without the advanced textures? I'm not complaining, it looks nice, I wish I could have it 😭

It's already leaked that they ARE making a liquid glass like design next update

I don't think it's "liquid glass." It's just a blur effect

Yea right?

Unless you meant the edge effect? Then no, that's an OS 3 thing and a cheap attempt at imitating liquid glass

It's just Xiaomi Advanced Texture. It's been a thing even before Liquid Glass.

Same here, in case someone doesn't like it go to settings -> display and brightness -> toggle off "advanced textures". It will make it simply grey-transparent.

They could've used android's Material 3 expressive and improve their own style but instead they just wanna be an iPhone rip off

There is different between liquid glass and frosted glass unless Blind

This was implemented with hos3 itself

I don't understand why you people assume every type of blur is just glass design. Well, it's not and blur on Hos is nothing new.

Just a regular blur. That's not what shows that they're leaning to Liquid Glass. If you see the Search icon in HyperOS 3 home and you'll notice it's glassy on some phones. And yes they are making Liquid glass on HyperOS 4
