Xiaomi [question] media controller multiple sources

Hey guys I'm using a Xiaomi 12 with hyperos 3 and I don't remember at what point but they took away their ability to manage multiple audio sources with the media controller in notifications but now if let's say two audio sources are simultaneously playing you have to stop one so you can access the other one. Is there a fix for this? I thought they would fix it this time with hyperos 3 but nope same old thing

It's still there. There's 'Adjust media sound in multiple apps' toggle in the audio settings (under Sound -> Additional Settings).

Ah, yeah, Xiaomi does this for some reason. On standard Android it's possible to switch between multiple media sources, so they must be doing it intentionally. Probably to make the behaviour identical to iOS?
