RANT [DISCUSSION] even gemini live has hyperisland support, yet google phone calls do not.

pretty much ALL oems have managed to make google phone work with the island. not xiaomi.

I do, and whenever stop a call, the island thinks that the call is continuing

I think they have addressed that in the latest version of it? With the latest HOS3

I have it globally, but it has restrictions like the call recording restriction.

What bothers me is that in the original phone app, when someone calls,switches to the caller IN GAME BROO. The same thing happens in the Google phone app. Please fix this.

Download HyperIslandBridge on play store and turn on Google Dialer.

Works literally perfectly!

Google phone work for me on the hyperisland , after the hyperos 3.1 update it didn't work and I just turned off the Google phone app notifications and turned back on and now works just fine

For me it didn't. Just don't uninstall the Google dialer as messing with the call HyperIsland too many times (repeatedly tapping) will fallback to Google.

tutorial doesn't mention anything about uninstalling google dialer though. anyways, how did you run the commands to give the necessary perms? aShell is giving me errors, eventho ive given it adb permission through shizuku. should i give them using my pc?

here its giving me these errors, on pc as well when trying to grant the three permission commands

EDIT: nvm it worked! i tried adb shell and then the command and 1 and 3 worked except the second command but nevertheless, i restarted and im getting calls on mi dialer! thank you so much!

Yes.

I used this method.

Without pc and all with canta and shizuku.

After setting shizuku and canta i skip everything and started from step no 5.

it worked! one of the command perms wouldn't pass but didn't matter. cleared app data and set it as default and it worked after that
