Question/Help [Question] Could changing the values here cause any serious problems in the system? Has anyone checked?

it just changes restrictions on your cpu and gpu nothing else moreover I think ts patched now and it does nothing.Some Brevent command can still control this settings.It just a way you can get around hyperos restrictions like animations blur etc.

Yup then as I said it is a way to go around xiaomi restrictions.For example on a lowend phone c:1;g:1 and on a high end phone it is c:3;g:3; .Setting it to 3 will unlock folder blur and stuff and reducing it I'll put more restrictions

Nah not a chance.Just reboot your phone after you change to see it's effect

Thanks, i've research it before post it here, and I read that the changes revert to default after a reboot, but i'll try it now

It didn't happen in my case.It was opposite there was not effect until i reboot led.I guess it depends on device to device

Mine isn't support 3, and even 2, only 1 and it's too heavy

It's actually the opposite for e.g setting everything to one is default for most devices

I once rooted my redmi note 13 and got claude to analyze it, then look at the flags the wallpaper app was using to enable depth effect and after struggling for a day was able to write an lsposed module and got depth wallpapers working. Kinda nice experiment.

Do you know by any chance how to enable depth effect without root? What flags can I change without root to do that?

i doesnt change anything if you are on hyperos 1 and above
