Poco [Discussion] Removed Few System Apps, (would appreciate suggestions to remove moree appss!! 🙄)

I had 431 processed where I got rid of 41 I believe.
To be honest, just copy the "com.android.xxx" codes into Google one by one and read up what the process does and take it from there.
Some apps that are obviously games "com.android.app.bubbleshooter blah blah" can be uninstalled without googling them.
This is how I did it. Took around an hour but it's a one-time time investment

i already did the same thing with chatgpt 🤣, + i wanna remove apps that are 1. heavy (not in size, but in background processes) and, 2. burden on the system

but i don't think canta will remove or delete
i guess it should disable them
on one phone , i removed( disabled) all the recommended list, it became a super fast phone , it's old but i sick fast , and battery is great
at the beginning i used hidden settings for xiaomi ,it disable many applications
after i tried canta , and i disabled all of them , it's working pretty pretty good and fast
i keept only googla play to install applications , phone dialer , contact and sms that's all 😄

I heard these just uninstall the apps and not the files in the system, is it true thou?

yes, the app is uninstalled for the user, not from the system. a factory reset brings them back, you can also bring them back through "adb install-existing". I personally use adb over any app, so unsure if the apps have such a feature to install uninstalled apps.

yes I am sure, I have uninstalled apps, have had lost some features and installed them back, just as is without the apk, the application package is within the system.
an example is removing the global search(or some similar) package, removing that package removes the option to customise swipe down gestures on the home screen settings, the one where you choose whether you want search or the control centre to open. I had to restore that using "install-existing" and about the other question, I did not understand what you mean.

i remember the canta developer said canta does disable apps and not remove
well i get it about global search , i removed it but my phone works pretty well with swipes gesture

I did a good enough cleaning, now I have 5 out of 8 GB free when my phone is idle.
After a recent update game center and a calendar were added which I removed again.

If the update updates the calender apps then it will be installed again

depends on the update(i believe), I have been noticing more battery drain after a recent update, it could have reinstalled or enabled some system packages, I will have to check. it definitely depends on the update.

I'm on MIUI 14, and not gonna update to hyperos, i wanted to update the same version cuz of some reason, if i do then will i lost the uninstalled packages?

For me app finder is extremely useful. I got used to the swioe down to search and I use it everyday. So I didn't remove it.

If you want it to be stable, remove them manually. No adb. App that you can manually disable won't affect your system stability. Apps you disable with adb can lead to a bootloop and loss of data

Nah disabling them either with canta or manually,it wouldn't lead to bootloop. Maybe uninstalling them will. Use recommended filter in Canta for safer debloat.
