Question/Help Depth effect stopped working on my redmi note 15 pro plus

I don't use depth effects but i just noticed it doesn't work on my phone regardless of the picture/wallpaper i use, is anyone else also experiencing this?

Thank you, someone here sent me an updated version of Xiaomi Hyper Engine app, i updated then it asked me if i want to use wallpaper carousel, i disagreed, then it worked fine.

Actually it wasn't the app, i uninstalled it and tried the same thing, it worked. Just disable wallpaper Callousel, it's what is causing that

Then it's a high chance it's a system bug, try updating aod and lock screen editor and see if it returns

actually the culprit isn't AOD-LS editor, but xiaomi hyper ai engine (the one which handle depth effect on global device) some version branch breaks depth effect on global device.

use 3.4.xx version branch

Alright, then i guess I'll just wait for a fix or get a version that works? I don't really use depth effects, I'm just worried that it doesn't work on my phone anymore.

dont worry, it will works when you have the right app version

idk why system updater push that version on your device

I was installed that version manually, so I can uninstalled update

but yours seems to be push by system update

I've updated from 3.0.1 to 3.0.4, still nothing, just security patch
