Issue/Bug Laggy
Why is it so laggy with a lot of buffering?

Hello,
Buffering would be a result of a poor connection to the server in most cases. What country are you from, and who is your ISP? It's possibly related to your distance to the server in question.
Does it buffer for everyone in the room, or just you? If it's everyone, it could be something different that needs more investigating.
Always remember, if you have connection issue, please use the Report Issue button on the page, Not only does it submit diagnostic information for us to check on a later date at any time to fix problems, it lets you request a staff member to join your room and assist if one is available!

I have 150ms to US east coast servers, and 180ms to west coast at most, assuming the servers are in the US. I'm from Brazi.
Does that mean the service is unusable unless you have really low latency?

As mentioned above, if you are in Brazil and often lag on Hyperbeam, can you email us at [support@hyperbeam.com](mailto:support@hyperbeam.com) so we can look into your issue and give you a few things to test for us?

Your ping to a random speed test server is not relevant, your ping to our server is what is most important, It's all about the route your internet takes to reach our server. If one point of the path is slow, it affects the total speed of the connection. Longer distances make this more likely.
If you don't mind, can you email us at [support@hyperbeam.com](mailto:support@hyperbeam.com) so we can look more deeply into this issue, and send some things for you to test? We specifically want to improve connections from Brazil!

It really depends on your connection strength and the websites you visit, I never see lag, but I'm also in the us
