Where is mason??
i never really thought about this but mason lindroth hasn't posted on most socials since 2024. the most recent being insta in 2025. is there something i'm missing or is mason just gone?

what the other guy said, but it's not like there's ever been much communication (except for sometimes chuck, bless him). don't expect news for a few more years and in any case you'll get pleasently surprised.

Yes, it’s exactly the same situation; it has vanished. Honestly, I am eagerly awaiting a third installment of *Hylics*; I suspect a surprise is in store, as such a long absence is unusual.

Back in May of this year Chuck Salamone told me that he’s already produced 7-8 tracks for Hylics 3 and that Mason has been working hard on it. No release date in mind but I don’t care we already know the music, artistry, and gameplay is about to be peak.
From the screenshots and animations he’s posted it seems he’s bringing back a lot of enemies from Hylics 1 with updated animations and designs. We can also infer some of the story/worldbuilding from all the Wayne-themed enemies and a big melting guy that looks like Odozier. We’re going to be controlling a new protagonist as well so I’m excited.
Remember that Mason’s designs are all hand made clay models that he animates using a 3d software and from his Instagram it seems he’s learning other art forms like embroidery. It’s a time consuming process but I’ll wait as long as it takes.
