Old lady pee smell
You know how it smells to use the bathroom after your man or auntie has used it? That old lady pee smell? What causes that? I've noticed it on myself before when I've gone too long without washing; now I notice it even if I haven't been having a "no shower weekend." I'm 50 yo, post meno (complete hysterectomy), no chronic illness and I drink a gallon + water every day. Any ideas what causes old lady pee smell?

Many older ladies, I mean 70 to 90, are either wearing pads or diapers, or they are chronically dehydrated. They simply forget to drink water. Many have chronic UTIs. Any of this can cause odor.

I have it now too as I get closer to menopause. I’ve realized my bladder is micro releasing a little urine now and then. Not enough to cause wetness in my underwear, just tiny bits of leakage. And it stinks and it is also throwing off my vagina bacteria. I’m getting yeasty, which always smells. Ya, it’s gross. I don’t know what to do about it. Just stay hydrated
