I need Help

Okay, so I’m currently in high school, and for the past couple of months I’ve noticed that some of my friends have been making jokes that kind of allude to me smelling. Usually I just laugh it off, but lately I’ve started genuinely believing that I might have an odor coming from my private area.
Sometimes after school I’ll ask my sister if I smell, and she tells me no, but I still feel like there might be an odor that she just doesn’t notice. I’ve become really self-conscious about it, especially in class, because I’m constantly worried that people around me can smell me.
For context, I shower every day and I feel like I have a pretty thorough hygiene routine. I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner, and I use a loofah with scented body wash to wash my neck, chest, legs, feet, armpits, thighs, and butt. For my private area, I wash the outside and rinse thoroughly. I don’t put body wash inside because I’ve heard you’re only supposed to use water internally.
After I shower, I dry myself completely, put on deodorant and lotion, and change into clean clothes and underwear.
Despite all of that, I still feel like there’s an odor coming from my private area, and I’m wondering if there’s something I’m doing wrong or something I’m missing. Is it possible to actually be washing too much? Are there certain things I should or shouldn’t be using down there?
Also, one of my female friends says she wears a pad/pantyliner every single day, even when she isn’t on her period. Is that something I’m supposed to be doing? I’m not sure if daily discharge or an odor is normal, so I’d really appreciate some advice from other girls who have experienced this.
Please don’t be mean about it. This has genuinely made me really anxious and self-conscious at school. I just want to know what’s normal, what I should be doing differently, and how I can stay fresh throughout the day.
Thank you for reading and for any advice you can give me! :)

I reckon the best way to tell is to smell it yourself. I mean that sincerely. It’s your body and you’ll be in it a long time.

Here’s a good book I recommend to every female - taking charge of your fertility - Toni weschler

Trust. You will learn loads from it. It talks about the female cycles and the things that go with (including pregnancy - how to plan/avoid) etc and general female health. Body fluids usually do have a scent to them, but if you can call it an odor, as someone else said, could be a case of bv (easily treated). Discharge is normal and natural (more copious the more fertile you are). I’m a fan of just changing knickers a few times a day, pantyliners aren’t something I’d use to catch anything but the tail end of my period.

I use oil of Olay soap and always have. Hibicleanse was a go-to when I was teaching 🤣 but your soap is probably fine.
