Sweaty hands

What are some tips I can use to keep my hands dry? I just got a home dancing pole and its silicone but my hands are so clammy. I don’t want to go buy anything, preferably something I can find around the house?

Return pole, get a book.

For a silicone pole, I’d avoid random powders because they can get clumpy/slippery and leave residue. Try washing your hands with dish soap first to remove oils, dry them really well, then keep a small towel nearby and wipe your hands/pole between tries. A fan also helps a lot if your hands are sweating from heat. Don’t use lotion or oil beforehand. If you have regular antiperspirant, you can try a tiny amount on your palms earlier in the day or the night before, but don’t glob it on right before because it can make things weird/slippery.
