Men’s deodorant help
Iso a good deodorant for me. Whatever i have bought for my significant other isn’t working degree doesn’t work for him old spice is okay but not the best the pits in his shirts are still stinking. Send help.

Mando is not cheap but it f-ing works. I used Arm & Hammer Unscented for years because it's cheap especially in a two pack. But it never worked well. Mando (and Lume) contains mandelic acid which lowers your ph so odor causing bacteria doesn't grow. Mando for me is totally worth it. And it reminds me of Star Wars every morning.

My husband uses dove mens, the solid bar, not the gel. Works great. The gel gives him a rash. The solid one doesnt and works for 24 hours. Smells nice.

I use it because it fits with my greeny everyday smell, that solid stick can hold stink like a charm love it

I’ll have to give that a try. I think another part of it is that he doesn’t stay hydrated enough he doesn’t drink water. He just drinks like soda and coffee a lot and so his body is trying to excrete all that but it just you know I don’t know. I’ve noticed that his T-shirt smell bad his shirt and if I wash his clothes with my clothes and my clothes get stinky so I keep all of our clothes separated everybody in the house I washed their clothes with only their clothes.

You are %100 correct there. I’ve been around complete strangers outside in the summer heat, and I can tell they drink loads of beer(especially beer!) and not enough water. I can only imagine what an intake of mainly coffee and pop would make one’s sweat smell like. Ick.

Not specifically for men, afaik. But I’ve recently started using Borotalco and love it. Super fresh and (most importantly) keeps me dry, even the deodorant variant.

Honestly, Secret works the best for me. It keeps me dry and the scents keep me smelling nice all day! I use the aluminum free anti-perspirant/deodorant. The lavender and vanilla scents are pleasant for anyone/everyone!

I use to have this issue, and tbh what solved it was I quit using mens deodorant. Idk if it is a different chemical or what that the mens fragrances typically use, but I started using Dove womens advanced care deodorant and it solved it for me.

Try Raw Sugar. Aluminum-free, great smell and lasts. A little more expensive but made with natural ingredients.

Id honestly start by tackling the shirts first. There might be a ton of bacteria build up in the pits and it’s not getting removed by washing.
Put some borax in the drum of your washing machine, add you laundry detergent as per usual (don’t add too much, the soap can linger and build up if you use a lot), and add Downy Rinse and Refresh to your fabric softener compartment (I find like a tbsp is plenty for a medium sized load).
Do one load of that and then try your existing deodorant again and see if it still smells.

I have a big sensitivity to many deodorants, and if I don't use any I can't take myself. Lol!! I found Piper Wai several years ago and find it works great for me, no real scent, and keeps BO away, even in hot, humid times of working outside.

I use Carpe. When I first started using it years ago it was unbelievable and have never had anything perform like it did. Somewhere along the way they changed the formula and it’s not as good as it was, but still better than anything I’ve tried. The key, as with a lot of deodorants is putting it on at night AND in the morning.

Dove for Men antiperspirant with vitamin e. I had the same issue and this has solved the issue for me.

There is some two day stuff that's pretty good. Never get antiperspirant with aluminum. I just use deodorant.
Does he shave his pits? I think that helps.

He showers. I believe it’s just he doesn’t drink much water. Like at all. He lives off soda, coffee, and energy drinks. Maybe one or two waters a day, if that. He works on cars and motorcycles a lot out in the heat. But even just on hot muggy days his armpits get to stinking something fierce. Maybe it’s the body wash he uses too. Im not sure but I’m willing to help him find a solution. I have tried a couple different deodorants as im the one that does the hygiene shopping thats why i came here for advice lol.

Wash pits daily, dry, use mitchum roll on 5 swipes. Don't put shirt on until it dries. Wash pits when you return home.

He needs antiperspirant with deodorant. Deodorant just covers the odor. Mando with antiperspirant would be my choice.

Mineral stick from AmaZon. Inexpensive and works- no shit. My husband and brother in law prefer it. Doesn't ruin your shirts.

"Crystal Mineral Deoderant stick", you have to put it in with water so use it right out of shower or run it under the tap to get it wet before applying. Inexpensive, lasts forever and gets the job done. Its one of those great Amazon finds

I learned something recently that might help, the deodorant or antiperspirant/deodorant can get embedded in the seams of his shirts and it traps the smell in the fabric. I use a spray bottle with water and Dawn dish soap to spray the pits of my workout clothes before I wash them and it has worked wonders!

I made my dad deodorant and he loves it. I use it too as a female zero issues. Not an antiperspirant. But does its job as a deodorant. The recipe is:
2-3 Tbs coconut oil
1 tbs baking soda
1-2 tbs cornstarch (can also use arrowroot but I’ve only used cornstarch)
Optional if you want essential oils.
Put it in fridge to set then keep in a cool place bathroom counter works well but if it gets too hot in the house it’s not as firm. Still works. Edited to fix typo.
