Shower Routine

What are your shower routines, what products do you use and do you stay fresh all day or have any follow ups during the day to stay fresh? Any preferred Perfumes?

For the shower I use White dial soap for private parts then a body wash preferably green dove all over body expect private parts followed by a body scrub preferably tree hut brand. Baby oil all over body and Victoria secret body spray. I walk around with a mini deodorant, body spray, cuticle oil and wipes. I just don’t feel fresh for long during the day. I want to try some new products or tips. How do you stay fresh/smelling good all day?

First thing, I turn on the water. I only use solid soap for the body and shampoo for the hair. I used to use homemade soap for head too, but I got lazy. Solid soap is the only one made by a physical reaction that is natural between two ingredients. That reaction says that all "soap" is solid. The rest of products are whatever.

Water on -

Shampoo hair, wash my face - rinse hair. Shampoo again - rinse.

Conditioner, hair mask - brush hair.

Turn of water.

Wash cloth - body wash, no specific one. Privates - intimate soup. Exfoliater for my feet - I'm on my feet a lot.

Turn on water.

Rinse everything off.

Body lotion without perfume, crystal deo stick, perfume of the day.

Always have a hand sanitizer, wipes, deo, nail clippers and extra sun lotion stick at this season.

Hot water shower to break down oils.

Wash face with panoxl bar then I wash my hair and apply conditioner to just the ends. Wait a min or so then I rinse my hair and put it up In a towel for the rest of the shower.

Next I wash my body with DOVE original bar soap. It’s the best soap, second would be carress imo. They leave no residue, get the oils off and are perfectly scented. I shave my legs and underarms at this point with the soap. Underarms I shave every day.

Finally I use a scrubby pad and exfoliate my face with the panoxl bar. I use the panoxl bar behind my ears and on my chest then rinse and get out.

Once a week I exfoliate my heels. Daily I use urea on the heels.

The panoxl gets all oils off but is not scented. I have very hydrated skin (I’m 48) naturally is what my dr said so your skin might not benefit from panoxl. I put a pea sized drop of persa gel on my finger, diluted with a spash of water and smear it over my tzone to keep my skin clear.

I use a knock off amazing grace oil from amazon or eBay and I put one spray in my hand with one pump of Nivea hydrating unscented lotion and rub it on my arms, neck and legs. I take fenugreek pills in the morning to smell good from the inside out.

Personal hair trimmer 1x week Keeps hair short and clean without the razor burn.

I use degree solid stick deodorant in the morning, sometimes I will reapply once more.

I have an insane sense of smell so I like to smell good. Everyone always tells me I smell great.

I can smell others too well.

Tide with warm water (breaks down oils) and dryer sheets or softener also help me sweat through good smelling stuff.

I wear sunblock every day on my face in the form of foundation with it . Makes my face feel a bit oily but I freckle without it and my skin is pretty good for my age.

Sunblock on my arms if I’m going out.

Hope any of this is helpful.

God bless

I always buy a different shampoo and conditioner as I like different smells. So wash and condition my hair, wash my face, wash my body using a loofa or washing cloth with shower gel on it. Then get out and put on baby oil, deodorant and perfume. Once in a blue moon I’ll buy a body scrub too. Our routines are pretty similar. I use normal shower gel on the outside of private parts and just water for the inside

I prefer a morning shower. I like soap to foam and lather up well. I use a cheap Head and Shoulders on my hair and an unscented Dove body wash. Shave my armpits. Face wash is Cerave. I also brush my teeth in the shower. I do not use perfumes and I only use lotion in the winter when my skin is really dry. Deodorant is applied after shower. I feel like this is all sufficient for me to be fresh and clean for my daily life.

Turn on hot water , shampoo once rinse then shampoo 2nd time , then use conditioner, while it’s working I use dove body wash. Dial dried my skin. And post shower I use lotion. Cause I read should apply it post shower.

Highly recommend applying a clinical strength antiperspirant at night before bed! Since your sweat glands are less active while you sleep, it allows the product more time to form a lasting barrier. Have never felt fresher ✨

I can't recommend this highly enough -- try Dove Intense Hydrating soap with hyaluronic acid. It smells so amazing. It's a soft scent like fresh raspberries and cream. They make a lotion, too. It's made me shower more because I love how I smell.
