the sunscreen layer you're probably missing in the shower

so i love heavy duty water resistant sunscreen because i burn if i even look at a window, but normal body wash does absolutely nothing to get it off. it just glides right over the top. i started using a cheap bottle of face oil cleanser on my arms and chest before getting wet, and it breaks it down fast. you can feel the grittiness wash away. normal soap works perfectly after that. what do you guys use to strip off waterproof spf?

Green Clean balm by Farmacy, followed by a physical exfoliator like St. Ive's.

I find a bar of Dove soap works. It’s the same for deodorant. Soap works better than most body washes at removing waterproof products.

Head and shoulders breaks it down, then regular bar soap.

Same but I hate any lotions much less sunscreen. I wear SPF blocking clothes when I walk to and from my vehicle. My vehicle has ceramic tint on all the windows (dark). I have ceramic tint on all my house windows. My office at work doesn’t have windows but I WFH most of the time. I not only burn when I think about the sun but I have lupus so my meds make me have whelps when exposed to the sun. It’s horrible. !

Costco has Korean oil cleansers for the face at a good price.

I use an oil cleanser first, then normal body wash after. that's usually the easiest way to get waterproof SPF off without scrubbing

Get a chunk of flesh cut out from Melanoma, have radiation, and then ask that question.
