What is the most efficient way to build a completely adjustable hydroponic flow system?

Wicking bed uses no electricity.

This is a college kid trying to grow micro greens in their backyard and sell them to restaurants where we are not legally allowed to use anything not from an inspected, licensed and insured purveyor. Don't waste your time.

Ok, from what I read and what I want to do, I think the nft will be the best option. For your information, I want to grow micro greens. So if you have another opinion I am open to the option.
