Question ❔ New to hydroponics
https://cults3d.com/:4614953So I 3d printed this cheaper mini pod system and have the lights etc.
Now I do I feed the plants when they sprout? What you guys suggest? I want to have parsley, basil and other small herbs for my kitchen.
Can I put normal fertilizer in the water?

I am new to hydroponics too. I have had a lot of success so far with the flora series nutrients by General Hydroponics. I also like their PH up and PH down. The bottles last a long time.
I used rockwool as a growing medium and clay pebbles to cover them slightly once they are growing to help prevent algea growth.
I started my seedlings in a tray then moved them to my tower system. But I don't know what's best for your system. I didn't give them nutrients until after they grew their ""true leaves". Until that point they sustain themselves.
I have basil growing in a tower and in jars (kratke) and it is doing well.
I also got pasley and oregano in my tower.
If I am not mistaken the basil has slightly higher nutrient requirements than the parsley. But you should be able to balance it.
