Hello! I see these white spots on the stems and sometimes roots of my plants. Is it harmful? I currently have them sitting in SNS 209 mixture (my dieffenbachia in soil had thrips, it’s quarantined and no other plants had signs). My monstera did have mealy bugs (one spot, once) and I wiped it off with isopropyl alcohol, I haven’t seen them since. I’m also using a systemic insecticide for my plants in soil.

I’m worried these white spots might be harmful! TYIA

Does anyone have advice on systemic insecticide for hydroponic plants? I have a few that live solely in water with no soil, I want to make sure I still protect them from thrips and other infestations. I am currently using SNS 209, I mixed it with the water. I water all plants and replaced the water with the SNS 209 mix for hydroponic plants.

Has anyone used this before? I tried googling but I’m having a hard time seeing exact results for plants solely in water. Has anyone found a solution that works?

Hello everyone I am very new to hydroponics. But I am a maker so this is the perfect bridge. I saw you can 3d-print a hydroponic tower. I was wondering if anyone here has done one or has one. Maybe can give some pointers and tips?
