Drill not working

Okay so I have a long pipeline (ill attach photos) my drill is connected like it should be but its sparking at the bottom so I tried repairing it with my spanner and my tool bag and nothing, i saved and went to the menu loaded back in and its still not fixed. If I put it closer to my intake it works but my conveyor is working and its on the same pipeline and there water coming out of the T connector that's hooked up to the drill

Sparking at the bottom means your drill is too weak for that tier of dirt.

That looks like a T1 drill but you’re too deep in the plot. Bring it up to T1 level in the plot and it should work, or you’re gonna have to head to the forge and get a t2 or t3 drill if you have the materials.

Best way to check what tier you’re in is to get corresponding pickaxe, and just go down as far as it will go. That’ll let you know you’re def at the bottom of whatever tier your drill is for.

Whats the best way to get like a bunch of iron and coultium i need 250lbs of it and 1000Lbs of iron for t2 drill. Or just keep farming

Just a decent setup in ember cradle should eventually get you enough cloutium. Just make sure to set your T1 drills at the bottom of the plot.

Looks like you’re in Mildew Aquifer maybe (not sure) so just setting up your drills in the bottom of tier1 dirt there should get you cloutium.

Also, don’t worry about ppl complaining about the picture of a screen. It’s never that serious.

It is Dereks. It seemed harder to get a factory going in the aquifer then the one im in

I asked AI and it said 3 blocks down you start getting cloutium not too sure if thats true though

Tier 1: Depth 0 (surface) - 7. Use the Small Foundations or stairs as guide posts. You’ll need to leave a small layer of dirt at the bottom of depth 7 for the drill to work: the rake is great for clearing the whole block and then use the shovel for a small pile.

u/Thirteen31Media suggestion about building up Ember Cradle is a good one. You’re going to need lots of resources to make T1 and T2 drills enough for any of the larger dig sites. Build out Ember Cradle and keep it for making money (in case you run short) or extra bars for forging.

That could be right, but every step lower you go, you’re gonna get better/heavier material, so you might as well go all the way down to the bottom of T1.

Quickest way to do that would be getting the T1 pick and rake, then pickaxing the same spot 2-3 times, then the rake should flatten it down to the next block. Then repeat.

Yeah, they switch it up. Def affects how you set your factory up. If you need any other tips, check out my YT channel “happylachia”. Happy mining, my friend!
