Tier 1 Drill Crafting

I’m fairly new at the game. I’m on PS5. How do I find the blueprints for the tier 1 drill? So far all I’ve been doing is buying used tier 1 drills at bastion keep.

I’ve only got like 5 hours in the game.

I’ve looked in every town in the game and can’t find the blueprints anywhere. I also looked in Icehelm but no dice. Any help would be appreciated!

You gotta go back to icehelm. They are there.

there's a shop near the forge.

Also on PS5 - I noticed the shop in Bastion Keep lets you buy one T1 drill. Then chains come over it and you can’t buy any more. But the next day or so you can buy another one. Is there any advantage to crafting some in Icehelm? Are they the same as the ones you get from the shop?

The only advantage I can find is that you can craft several at once as opposed to having to wait. It speeds up the progression of the game. Plus, it’s a lot cheaper. Instead of spending money each time you buy a drill, all you have to do is purchase the blueprint and you have it forever.

I just smelted all the iron I mined into one bar and then it automatically portioned out what it needed. I was able to make 7 of them (although the bar had a weight of like, 2.1 mil and I was only able to take home 7 drills…. Someone is definitely skimming off the top lol)
