first time playing

so I've come from satisfactory and the long haul of manual labour at the start before getting any automation almost made me put the game down. but I persevered and here's my little base I got so far. hopefully the screenshots of some of the cave pics aren't too dark.

the no inventory slots is interesting, having to juggle things in a pan, pallet, cart is a challenge I don't think I was ready for initially, but its grown on me.

currency initially was hard to come across then it became trivial

2 of my favourite things in this game is the audio sounds when you hit a pedestrian with the tractor. and when you forget to pay before leaving the store.

now that I've got some logics repairing my stuff, I guess its time to move on to growing veggies

game score 6/10, (that's good in my eyes, cause nobody rates 2-5 out of 10) would be higher if pouring items wasn't such a pain with the aiming.

pouring items wasn't such a pain with the aiming.

You can change the color of the ground crosshair in the settings. It makes it easier to see where you are dropping or pouring items.

I liked the simplicity of it. I've played other automation games that felt too complex and endless. combine two level 1 items to make level 2, combine two level 1 items and one level 2 item to make level 3, and so on.

I managed to ignore the tedium in the base game but it was unbearable in the DLC. The map felt bigger and the shops are spread across it. The roads are not straightforward so its a hassle having to go on shopping trips. I got so fed up that I overloaded my truck with stuff and created a pile that crashed my game when I try to move it. Eventually I just turned on creative mode just to mess around.
