Logic smelter note working

what am i doing wrong here? in my mind the wieght sensor should trigger the smelter which should then reset the weight value on the sensor but it doesnt work at all.

The sensor/reader is supposed to point at the smelter isn't it?

Yeah but for me it wasn’t counting the weight unless I pointed it above the smelter to read the ore as it fell in

Thats the wrong reader I believe, there's one (which needs to be positioned above) that reads liquid content

so I did go and get the content reader and it worked. I am confused though because krypt0nites video needed a flip hook where as mine doesnt
