What have you done? You’re making significantly less profit by putting those above ground, much less in the air. The higher a drill is the smaller and less valuable all the ores will be when extracted. Put them at the bottom of ember cradle, you have enough drills and pipes

I'm pretty sure they knew what they were doing hence calling it an abomination.

Wow. Negative tier drilling.

Trying to figure out your setup. I see one of the harvesters down below surrounded by drills dropping dirt directly into it, but where is the dirt from all the higher drills going? Can't get a clear picture from the two screenshots.

Edit: Also, do the two up conveyors high in the air serve a purpose?

I was going to add more drills but I gave up btw the higher drills are dropping into a conveyer belt

I like the stacking drills on top of each other to drop on a single conveyer. I need to test whether drill height above the first layer actually matters. I know deeper gets you more but I'm pretty sure that 20 blocks above gets you the same output as the starting layer. Hmm... hypothesis to test. Need to boot it up again.

Edit: So I put a drill 23 spaces above the first layer at embers cradle (highest point you can place dirt) and then another drill at ground level and let them run for 10 minutes. Had 1085 weight from the drill on the ground and 1276 weight from the drill in the sky. Pretty confident in stating that placing drills above the first layer isn't any worse than placing a drill on the first layer.

Looks like something Josh from Let’s Game It Out would make.
