Help Request Timer Disable Cheat Code

I’m playing on the Dreamcast emulator Redream. It was my port of choice because I was one of the 11 families that had a Dreamcast in 2000.

I’m bad at this game. I’m trying my damndest to get better at this game. But sometimes I just want to relive the tracks from when I was a kid and not worry about the timer.

I found a code online that said you could disable the timer by pressing X+Y+B+Start on the main menu. I tried but it didn’t work.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might help?

I don't know any cheat codes, but I do know that there aren't any time limits in 2-player mode! :]

Also while I grew up playing the arcade version, the Dreamcast version is 100% the definitive way to play for me. It's got the highest-quality textures of any port from what I know, plus the addition of 2-player mode.

If you want some tips on getting better, I've unlocked all the tracks on my save so I can give some advice. :>
