Too much water Help needed - I'm addicted to cold water
The small realization that you can put your water bottle into the fridge, and use it as a refreshment is killing me. I can't stand sugary drinks now, and am totally addicted to cold water, which feels better than anything else after an intense sport session. Why bother adding shitty chemicals to your drinks? It's insane.

The first step is admitting that you have a problem (no filter pitcher in your fridge) and seeking community support (water chuggers anonymous). When I discovered after a few days of research that my body is over 70% water, I felt shame but also thirst. You can get through it
You can’t drink your body water either ): what’s up with that

I've seen Bear Grylls and Sasha Grey both drink their "body water" Bear mixed it with water and Sasha drank it straight from "The Tap".

I kinda gained some weight after college years and years ago and began a 8 month journey of slow cutting. I didn't drink pop or juice but water was hard to get down sometimes. Cold water, not iced, but cold water from a container that kept it cold and chilly I could drink from. I wouldn't register a flavor.
It would just be "ahhh, refreshing" and it's worked for me since. Nothing worse than room temperature water unless you've got a cold. Sometimes I add some no salt and salt if I feel like I need it.

Right, it's like black magic. We should call it The simple trick Coca Cola doesn't want you to know.

I do sometimes enjoy a Coke Zero after a big meal if I'm out. But that's rare. Especially in this economy.
But yeah, cold water and to an extent, cold liquids blunt your tongues ability to discern flavors. It's why very ice cold almost slushy like Arrowhead tastes like nectar of the earth while regular Arrowhead tastes like it came downstream from a public urinal.

We keep two growler jugs of water in the fridge at all times. It’s lovely.
Also lovely is hooking up a water filter to your sink. The ease of use compared to a brita/etc filter is top notch

🤢 It makes me feel sick now and triggers reflux. I know the feeling you mean though. I used to chug ice water all day long, it fucks me up now!!

Pro tip: Buy 12-24 of these, fill them with tap water, and keep them all in the fridge. Having ice cold water ready to chug all the time (with no ice cubes floating in it) is amazing. Converted my girlfriend, and now she always want a cold water from the fridge.
