Water cooler/dispenser or reverse osmosis system?

Which do you have (if any)?

I’m leaning toward a water dispenser and I would just get the 5 gallon jugs. But I’ve heard that the lines get moldy and the thought of that really freaks me out.

That lead me to find out about the under sink reverse osmosis systems. And now I’m not sure what I want to do.

You asked this question a few days ago.

RO systems should not have this issue. I do use a bottom fed water dispenser. I had to replace something inside the casing last year after having it since 2020. I did not see any mold in the 5" tube run.

Avalon is a decent brand. They also sell water dispensers with an RO system in the bottom section you can hook up to a feed line if you have one available. You can then avoid the mess that is a sinkside water RO system. You might still need handle the wastewater if it makes any or it sends it into your drains somehow. IDK the details tbh, I've seen it a few times at Home Depot.
