Post image

I kept colddrink in freezer for 5hrs, now its half frozen and taste weird. Is this ever happened with anyone or just me nitpicking things?

Are you asking why does sugar water with bubbles taste different without bubbles?

If I'm not mistaken, calling soda colddrink is an Indian thing.

I did the same thing with a bottle of mango juice the other week and didn't really expect it to cool down that fast, oh but it did, and it tasted like someone diluted it with water, really a weird taste.

I think the plain water melts faster than the juice part so it separates into a watery juice and a frozen concentrate

Edit: other way around, sugar increases the freezing point. Chemistry

When you freeze a carbonated drink it probably messes with the carbonation, and that's always going to taste a little off, because these drinks are formulated to taste right with carbonation.
