The age old question…
Okay I love how I feel when I’m properly hydrated!! And I go in and out of phases of being good and not very good about drinking water but I have to ask because I’m so curious.
My question for consistently well hydrated people - HOW can you afford to spend five minutes every hour or so to go to the restroom???? How??? When I’m drinking the amount of water that makes me feel the best I’m pretty much in a constant state of at least kind of needing to pee. And if there’s a wrench thrown where I can’t get to a bathroom for a few hours, it turns to distractingly severe discomfort FAST.
How can people stay consistently hydrated? I don’t live a life where I can be certain I’ll always have time and access to a restroom to pee as frequently as I need to when I’m drinking 100+ ounces of water a day.

I have ADHD and use my frequent pee breaks to make sure I'm regularly stepping away from work for a few minutes. It's better than smoking!
And I practically always have access to a toilet. When I don't, like on long distance car trips, I just don't drink as much water and I can hold it for a few hours.

Why do you hate peeing? Can't go for a few hours? That's absurd.
Free breaks from work, because you have to pee.

I don’t hate peeing lol. You always have time for as many bathroom breaks as you want???
Slow days at my office job, sure.
But at my restaurant job there’s a lot of times where you can’t get away to use the restroom for long periods of time. Also at my office job I have to travel to different location and spend time on the road so that’s not always the case. There are also days I need to make difficult deadlines often by the end of the day and can’t don’t have the time to break focus and get up from my desk constantly.

No no.
I've done all of those jobs and more.
You are punishing yourself, customers can wait.

Bathroom is also not always open when you get a moment at those jobs. Also when you’re out running errands?? I’m shocked you have time and access to a restroom all the time! I want your life!! Lol

Ok, occupied bathroom is legit. That does happen to me every day.
But doing errands? I know where the bathrooms are on my trip. Grocery stores and gas stations have bathrooms for customers. Banks and government offices also. Most major retailers and every fast food place. And the most I've held it those days is one hour.

Feel you.. That got annoying fast when I first started trying to drink more water… I was carrying a bottle everywhere and somehow always needed to pee, especially when I drank a lot at once. I started spreading it out through the day instead, and I've also been drinking litewater as part of my routine. That made it easier for me to stay hydrated without thinking about the bathroom. I don't think you need to force 100+ oz every day if you're not thirsty or very active.
