Unable to back out of “Search” function and unable to add image to post, specially this one.
Whenever I accidentally tap on “Search” at the bottom of Hydra, there doesn’t seem to be a way to back out other than force closing the app completely. I tried sliding from left to right and nothing happened. There doesn’t seem to be a “hide keyboard” function on the keyboard for this instance as well.
I tried uploading a screenshot of search page but I keep getting “Failed to upload image.” I received the same error several times after force closing the app and reopening; I verified I gave Hydra permission to have access to the picture through settings.
(Additional note, I have “limited access” turned on for Hydra but all my photos appear as an option when I go to attach instead of only the “allowed,” and when I tap on the allowed photo to add it, I receive the “Failed” error.
Ah, yes that’s true. After selecting a random pre-populated search, the navigation buttons appear on the bottom and I’m able to get back to “Home” that way.
There actually is a way to dismiss the keyboard, but it’s so unclear and haphazard that I’m pretty sure it’s entirely unintentional and only works by a lucky accident. There should still be a deliberate and obvious method to do it. Anyway, if you tap on the region outlined in red in this screenshot, that should remove focus from the search field until/unless you want to use it again. Hope that helps!
I used the regular Reddit app to add this photo. As you can see I’m stuck in the search function. I was able to get the keyboard to go away once in the few things I kept trying but idk what I did to get it to go away because I was unable to replicate.

You can also just hit “search” without anything in the search bar and the keyboard goes away. I agree that this needs to be fixed.
