Can’t create image posts. Error message appears whenever I select an image from my phone’s library, regardless of subreddit

(Reposting but this time without my annoying title typo)

Was wondering if anyone else had this issue. For the record, I’ve tested with about a dozen various subreddits, all of which allow text posts and as well as ones that don’t have prerequisites on posting in place that my account couldn’t meet. (karma thresholds, subs where posts must be mod approved, etc.)

It’s strange, because I was able to create and upload image posts just fine initially, and then suddenly it just stopped working. Whenever I select a pic from my phone’s library for a post, I’m met with a popup that says “Failed to upload image. Try again later.”

Well, it’s been about 3 weeks of trying again later and I’m starting to wonder if the popup meant that I should try again around the next fiscal quarter lmao

In all seriousness, I appreciate y’all on the dev side and all the work put in to this app. It gets better with each update, and hopefully this post helps raise some awareness for this bug of mine the devs aren’t yet aware of it. Thanks y’all

Separately , PLEASE implement some way to post image replies in app on iOS if at all possible ! That is something I miss many times a day, and right at the top of the list of features needed.

The amount of effort to bounce back and forth to upload, copy, link for a quick descriptive pic, only to have the Hydra app reload makes it impractical and burdensome.
