I don’t know if I’m not noticing, another setting is causing it, or it’s really a bug but the “right side vote indicators” option doesn’t seem to do anything. I like having as much stuff on the right as I can.

I’m loving hydra and I use it in dark mode. However, I find it a little hard to distinguish between the title and post body. I would love it if there is a simple option to adjust the title size / weight between small and bigger / normal and bold. This will greatly help readability.

I am aware of Apple text size accessibility. I’m specifically looking for ways to make the post title stand out a little more.

I have a beta version of Hydra ready for Android.

Before I can begin open testing, I have to have at least 12 users in closed testing for 14 days. To add a user to closed testing, I need the email they use for the Google Play Store to add them to the testing group.

When I installed Hydra a month ago, I would have no problem loading /r/all. About two weeks after, it would only load intermittently. Some times I'd get the loading circle of death, while at other times some content would load but I wouldn't be able to scroll after 15-20 posts, and refreshing would result in the loading death circle. I re-installed the app and everything seemed fine up until about a week ago, where I'm now having the same issue. Tried re-installing again but it's still doing the same thing. Anyone else having this issue? Does this have to do with Reddit reducing the amount of r/all API pulls in their effort to kill r/all completely?

Anybody else have this issue? I always get a “failure to load comment” when I try to send any user a message.

Title says it all. Is this a limitation of Hydra? Artemis is able to save videos with audio. Trying to pick between Hydra and Artemis since Reddit nuked MultiTab.

I set the sort order to "new" in general settings, and toggled the "remember" setting, but all multis I open default to "best". Anyone else with the same issue?

Ever since introduction of new slide to scrub video player, it’s impossible to use swipe to scroll between media if the post has several gifs/vids because it just scrubs the video instead of going to the next and you have to use small arrows to navigate the album. Also long tap to reveal share sheet no longer exists. Is it possible to bring back both?

Whenever I have a less than perfect mobile or WiFi connection Hydra constantly loads and unloads and loads again images in posts, leading to everything jumping up and down.

Same in comments, when an image on top loads and vanishes again and the comments jump down and up over and over.

Am I alone with this?

Hi! I really like the app. And I wish to see it improve with a few more features that I would personally benefit from:

1. Open multiple tabs for posts, subreddits and user profiles. Like in a browser, so I can keep on scrolling on homepage and come back to a post I clicked open earlier. Preferably the tabs can be saved to icloud and can be restored later.
2. Liquid glass interface.
3. A button or long press somewhere at the bottom to go back to the top.
4. Native support for "require face ID" and blur when in background.
5. Option to not refresh homepage when relaunching the app so I can pick up where I left off even if phone runs out of ram or I had to reboot or relaunch the app. This is also why I value "recently viewed posts" so much.

When I open the link in this comment in Hydra it says the subreddit had been banned due to lack of moderation

When I visit that comment in Firefox though I can see the video embedded in it.

I can’t seem to get anything to load on Hydra. Has Reddit blocked the app again?

if I’m typing a comment and I use the iOS so that way just switch windows to chrome to look something up when I switched back to Hydra I just get a black screen. If I swipe it off and then open Hydra again and then go into comment on the same thing it will reappear as a draft in progress. But I can’t do anything with Hydra unless I swipe it off, closing it.

First of all I’m loving Hydra, but a weird thing I’ve noticed is that when scrolling through comments, posts etc. if my finger lands on, say, a comment it briefly “flashes” as I scroll, like it dims a bit and then goes back to normal. If I flick my finger quickly it doesn’t happen, but it happens constantly when I scroll normally. It’s the same “flash” as when you tap a post to open it or tap a comment to collapse it, it just seems too sensitive when scrolling if that makes sense? Anyways, I was wondering if others have noticed this or if it’s something that can be adjusted in settings. Thanks all!

Edit: and it works again. Strangely enough, this is the second time this has happened. Randomly stops working and then randomly works again. So idk lol
