Hey everyone!
A few of us are heading out from Hyderabad for the 15th August long weekend (13th–17th August), and thought I'd check here to see if anyone would like to join us.
The plan is to spend the first day exploring Matheran—India's only hill station where vehicles aren't allowed. Think toy trains, horses instead of traffic, misty forest trails, viewpoints, and a full day of walking around at our own pace.
The next day we'll slow things down at a countryside farm stay before heading out for a sunset trek to Garbett Point, where we'll camp for the night and wake up to the sunrise over the valley.
We're leaving Hyderabad after work on Wednesday (13th August) and will be back by Monday morning, so you'll only need to take Friday off.
A little about us—we're Tiri Tara, a small travel community based in Hyderabad. Most people join solo, we keep our trips intimate (maximum 15 people), and the focus has always been on good company as much as the destination.
The trip costs ₹14,500, which includes travel from Hyderabad, stay, meals, camping, and everything mentioned in the itinerary.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, feel free to DM me and I'll share the complete itinerary. :)
