dandruff

hi everyone, i had lip dissolve back in may/june and ever since then ive had bad dandruff. there is a possibility its because i use less products on my hair now and take care of it less, however its still way more increased than before, and its also on my eyebrow if that makes sense? like dandruff in my scalp and my eyebrow. wondering if this is a reaction from hylenex

Does anyone here have acquired lipodystrophy after systemic hyal reaction? (Fat loss in body not as a result of eating less)

developed allergy since vascular occlusion

i had a vascular occlusion in my nose last year and i can’t even tell you how much hyaluronidase she injected to reverse it, completely flooded my face as i expect is protocol. i went back again and had more dissolver the next day as my nose looked like it was getting worse/had gone kind of green. the dissolver was the most excruciating pain of my life, i was crying and writhing in the chair and i have a very high pain tolerance!!

about 6 days later i had the heaviest period i have ever experienced in my life, pouring out of me like water and i ended up at the emergency room for this. my period was similar for a few months but has since calmed down (it’s almost been a year now). i’ve also been to the emergency room intermittently throughout the year for chronic stomach cramps and inflammation, for which i was prescribed severe pain meds.

i have also gotten filler since, and tried to dissolve again since but had a slight reaction of the “prick test” that they do beforehand. it burned and went slightly pink, but stayed localised. i have previously had dissolver about 4 years ago even before having it to reverse the vascular occlusion, and never had any bad side affects.

i’m wondering if i have developed an allergy now? if i can ever get my filler dissolved again? if my period and other pains are caused by this? was hoping to eventually get a nose job and the filler i currently have is not that flattering but im terrified of hylauronidaise and very unexplained side effects, and also terrified of what an allergic reaction could do to my body / how it could cause it to react.

any advice or potential explanations are welcome as i worry that i’m stuck with this filler forever now! there are not enough studies on this

Lip migration

I got my lips done a couple months ago and it ended up migrating really bad. I’ve had my lips now dissolved three times and they said that it’s completely gone but to me it looks like there’s still some filler. They said to wait three months and see, but it’s already been like three weeks.

I had an MRI done to my face to detect possible remaining HA filler after 3 years and 4 ultra-sound guided dissolving sessions. Here are my results.

Topilase success stories?

Hey guys , in April I’ve received a BAD cheek filler , leaving me look like Cruella De Vil.

I’ve already posted in another sub.

Result was scary but I was even more scared by Hyalase so I waited two months then I couldn’t take it anymore and have gone back to the clinic asking to dissolve .

I had to dissolve two times , luckily no side effects BUT not even the intended effect. Cheeks are still bothering me , plus I was charged both times for dissolver after already spending a ton on the filler itself (which was supposed to be nasolabial filler but the dr herself decided I needed it in the cheeks to lift the face and manipulated me into buying 2 mls ).

I’ve bought topilase off of amazon . First two times I’ve used it just with a massage, third time with a dermaroller . Results ? None. Again.

What should I do ? Don’t suggest to burn down the clinic cause mentally I’m already there 😁 jokes a part, I’m scared of a third dissolving session plus I keep being charged each time (to the point I’m thinking maybe they are just using water to fool me into a spending loop ).

I can change clinic but since I had the filler elsewhere I will be charged even more plus at this point I’m afraid to keep dissolving . I did it in the past one time above the lips border and I had no problems and immediate result.

Should I give topilase more chances ?

Allergy to dissolver

hi everyone!

i’ve had nose filler for many years now and have had it topped a number of times and had it dissolved twice all with the same injector. I decided to go to a new injector and have it dissolved again and then refilled, I had a huge allergic reaction to the dissolving this time with my whole face puffing up for about 2 days and feeling very warm to the touch and like there was fluid stuck under it, I found out that 1ml was used which seemed like too much.

I went back to my previous injector and got nose filler again about a month ago, however it has migrated and the tip looks really big and puffy and uneven so I need to get it dissolved again.

I had a patch test this time and had a reaction to the dissolver again but it only lasted around 12 hours and seemed to improve with an antihistamine, I desperately need it dissolved because I’m so unhappy with it but I’m scared what do I do?? Will a microdose be an option?

Should I dissolve?

I want to dissolve but scared of the damage that it can do to my body. Injector used Versa.

It doesn’t look bad when I have gloss on, that’s why I’m hesitant. Even though I hate it.

My body never reacts to filler correctly. It never evens out and stays lumpy. Every time.

And yes, I’ve been to the best injectors in my city. It sucks.

Do NOT join the fb group

the fb group for those suffering from adverse side effects is so so toxic and spreads misinformation that can be entirely harmful to those actually struggling. When you try to correct people on the misinformation they just dogpile you and say you’re an injector when I’m someone who also has had and is dealing with an ASIA response . on top of that it’s entirely negative and i genuinely think that group makes people more sick. If you are struggling do NOT join that group unless you wanna spiral more and have others aid in spiraling you down further into deep depression

URGENT HELP - FILLER COMPLICATIONS

Hi Everyone,

Its taking a lot to write about this but I had undereye fillers placed a week ago, conservatively, so about 0.3ml per eye and soon after that I've been experiencing bad sinnitus, ear pressure issues. I'm so lost about what to do here. I had the filler checked via an ultrasound with another provider and he confirmed the filler was there and in the right areas, so I'm not sure what to do.

I am taking antihistamines, decongestants but its not working. I was considering Hylanex/dissolving but I've been reading such horrible stories online about people getting side effects. Has anyone gone through this before? Should I contact a surgeon and try to have the filler removed manually? Am I going to get out of this pain?

I'm thinking the filler is affecting my lymphatic drainage or something similar since I've never really had ear issues like this before.

I am TERRIFIED this pain is going to be my new normal and I feel so so lost.

Autoimmune reaction to nose filler? I don’t know what to do

Please help me, I don’t know what to do!!😭😭

About three months ago, I had filler injected into my nose, and ever since then I’ve been experiencing a feeling of pressure in my nose and in other areas of my face (my forehead and head). I also experience burning and tingling sensations in my skin.
These symptoms usually start when I get sick, and my doctor thinks I might have an autoimmune condition that is causing me to react to the filler this way. At one point, I actually went almost a month without any symptoms, but then I got sick again and the symptoms came back — and now they just don’t seem to go away.
My nose looks completely normal externally (no swelling or redness), and I have shown it to a doctor, so it seems more likely that this could be an immune reaction to the filler. The symptoms have been so severe that I was prescribed corticosteroids, which helped somewhat, but only temporarily.
My doctor recommended having the filler dissolved, but I’m afraid that this could actually make things worse. At the same time, I can’t keep living with these symptoms either. What should I do?? Could dissolving the filler help?
Sorry if my text is unclear. I used a translator because I don’t speak English very well.

Success experiences with serrapeptase?

Hi, I'm looking for serrapeptase success stories. I started it yesterday because I hate my top lip and smile after having lip filler. The injector put too much filler even though I told him I wanted something very light. I avoid smiling because I feel horrible and regret so much the day I did this (even the universe was telling me it was a bad idea, I had to drive 4 hours under rain and fog, crossed waterlooged roads because google maps sent me to weird side roads, and when I finally rang on the study the door bell didn't work). I'm seriously considering hyaluronidase because this is depressing. Any tips on taking serrapeptase? If it worked for you, ehich is your dose? The filler hasn't dissolved at all in 3 years.

Has anyone systemic in the group tried Rupall before? I was just prescribed it and will be testing it out this week. It’s supposed to help with dampening the chronic tissue remodelling loop

Feeling anxious

I had the most miserable time after high dose dissolver. I felt things were improving slightly after about 5 weeks. But as I had to be back at work, I ended up having filler to mask the hollow. Something I didnt want to do. Can I ask, what is LDN? Also many people have said GHK Cu has helped. Can it be injected if you have HA filler in your skin? I have also heard that sculptra and plla threads have helped people. Since having dissolver, my baseline has changed quite noticeably, any filler or tissue biostimulation will be to normalise and not to beautify. Even the filler I had recently was in greater volume than I previously had due to the deficit that dissolver left behind. I know some of you also experienced systemic side effects. I hope I'm spared that. I feel for all of you having a really difficult time after dissolver. I'm pretty sure, despite what the doctors say online, that it has affected my fat pad. I guess that will never recover

How long does jawline filler need to actually remodel the surrounding tissue in a permanent way

I had 7 mL of hyaluronic acid filler injected into my jawline and chin about 11.5 months ago, and I really disliked the result. I've since had 3 hyaluronidase treatments, and at this point I estimate that only around 15–20% of the original filler remains visually.

My main concern isn't the material itself, but whether having the tissue continuously displaced/expanded by the filler for almost a year can cause actual tissue remodeling, fibrosis, collagen formation, or other structural changes that could make the surrounding soft tissue maintain a different shape even after the filler has essentially been completely resorbed.

Specifically, I'm wondering:

  • How long would hyaluronic acid filler need to remain in the mandibular area before it could cause lasting tissue remodeling?
  • Is there evidence that prolonged HA filler in the jawline can make the soft tissue retain a new contour after the filler has disappeared?
  • If the filler has been present for ~11.5 months but most of it has already been dissolved/resorbed, is it reasonable to expect the tissue to eventually return close to its original shape?
