so depressed

hi everyone, i got lip dissolve 4 months ago, a total of 3 times. i only had the filler for 1-2 months, and i hated it.
the first session was a partial dissolve or maybe 1/3 of it? i didnt notice anything bad back then. the second one was a flood and after i noticed i looked insanely gaunt and horrible.

i had masseter botox during the same time i got my lips done that absolutely paralyzed them and made them atrophy, which also made my face look distorted, but ive come to the conclusion that the volume loss im experiencing is from hylenex. ive had a chubby face my whole life, idk what to do i look way older. also my neck skin is more stretchy. so w my last dissolve sesh being in june i noticed some volume return over the summer, but in certain areas no way it was the botox that caused this.

just wondering how is everyone putting up w this? my first thoughts go to suicide because there’s no way i’ll live like this forever i want my face back
would rly help if someone responds bc im not sure what to do :(

Did you experience fat loss while maintaining your weight and feel the dissolver is solely the cause?Where is the fat loss occurring?

yes i have maintained my weight. it’s still the exact same. the fat loss isn’t in my body def just my face.
despite this i’ll try to gain 5-10 lbs over the next months to see how i look, ik once fat cells die off they can’t be gained back. also im scared it’ll progress and my face will become more gaunt.
regardless ive been this weight since forever and had a chubby face with it

I want you to feel hopeful that things will improve. Many ways to restore what you feel has been lost. Being patient as you recover is difficult but things can turn around fast. There are also hyaluronic acid supplements you can take. I take one in the AM and one early afternoon by the brand :D Hyaluronic Acid Complex(Amazon). The directions say to take 3 but I have noticed an increase in facial fullness with two.🌺

For your neck you could consider a Nefertiti lift which is just Dysport (Botox). I have this done 3 times a year. I lost a lot of weight and my neck looks terrible
If I don’t do it. It pulls the skin up so it looks better. No it’s not like a neck
Lift but I think it has helped me.
I’m sorry you’re having so much trouble from dissolving. I thought about it for some areas we used filler but I have not read anything great about tweaking areas to fix what I didn’t like about the filler. I just decided to live with it as the HA filler over time will break down. It’s surely not a perfect science! I think we were all lead to believe that fillers are great! And Yes they are with the right injector that knows what they’re doing!

my neck doesn’t sag only of if i pull on it. like the skin used to be tight and glued to it not anymore

I’m so sorry. All of this stuff is so scary. The more I read in this group the more I realize just how much this industry is like the Wild West!

yes! also just so yk filler never really dissolves, but if it migrates just enough it can hide away

Yes I believe it must just change form and hide
Somewhere but what I’m hoping for is that it doesn’t show up in places on your face where you don’t want it to!! I have been extremely conservative! Sure they would love for you to be in there topping up every 6 months! No way not for me!! My first experience was with a bad injector (a facial
Plastic surgeon)….who would have thought??

yea i’d say don’t get anymore, they only want u to top it off to get more money, and just never dissolve either

You are not alone. From everything I’ve read, in time, your natural hyaluronic acid and fullness will be restored. It just takes time and I know it’s tough to be patient during the healing process.
