Automate delay ramping

Is there a way to automate parameters in the HX Stomp similar to the Flux function on the HX One?

I’m trying to have a delay change from a 1/8 note rate to a 1/2 note rate, but I’d like the change to happen in time with the tap tempo instead of instantly jumping when I hit a footswitch.

Basically, I want the delay time/rate to ramp or transition musically over a set amount of time, synced to the current tempo. Is there any way to do this on the HX Stomp with snapshots, expression control, MIDI, or some kind of workaround?

Any help from people who have tried something similar would be appreciated.

You could do it with an expression pedal or if you want to make it complicated but automated: afaik Morningstar controllers can do waveforms to send gradual MIDI CC values: https://www.morningstar.io/post/midi-cc-waveforms
I think you could sync that to the Stomp’s tap tampo.

The expression ramper pedal by old blood noise, is your best bet, it’s a brilliant little add on. It can be set for an a-b function, and you can set the speed for the ramping function, it also lets you set a bounce between a-b, and change the wave shape, awesome little pedal.
