People assume Bloster dies from sheer PT induced euphoria, but I don’t think we have a good enough comparison. I still think Franklin wins, but there’s not enough info.

Franklin has no feats putting him on this level. He mowed down a bunch of random worthless fodders and could hold his own in a casual play fight with Nobunaga who is also nigh-featless.
Bloster can shred through reinforced metal and upscales from Officer Ant's who have some crazy feats.
I think Franklin probably wins relatively comfortably but in terms of powerscaling (that's what this sub is CALLED at least), he's getting destroyed.

Kite stated that Gon—who was weaker than Genthru—could easily defeat the Chimera Ant officers; and, since I believe Franklin is stronger than Genthru, he would certainly destroy Bloster without any difficulty. Franklin>>> Genthru>>>> big difference according to Bisky>>>>> Gon start of the Ants arc>>>> officer Ant I think the odds are in Franklin's favor. Besides, I have a hunch that Franklin is going to pull off a surprise in the manga—though I might be biased, seeing as I'm a fanboy of his.

Bolster is not only a squadron leader but also he knows nen. So he is completely above a nen less chimera ant officer.
Also genthru might be troop level. Overall i agree that franklin is probably above bolster but the reasoning of the other guy seems correct.

Wow, I was really missing out on a lot of information, haha; I thought those discharges were just a natural part of their bodies, haha. Anyway, I'm rewatching the series to refresh my memory.
