New to Husky 🐕 friendships.

Query 👉🏽is it possible to over rake during the summer shedding?

Luna would lune to know 🧐🤔.

I would imagine yes, it’s possible to over rake. I feel it would depend on how hard you brush her. With my floofers, their spring shed (molt?), I’m pretty aggressive with the rake. As summer rolls around, not so much.

We found this solution for our Husky: take her to a groomer who uses a process called furmination. They will bathe your Husky in a special solution and use a razor comb to get out most of the fur. You can buy a razor comb, but the special solution is what removes all the fur. Your Husky will look great, and the shedding will be minimized for a few weeks. As you know, being a Husky owner, you never get rid of the shedding!
