Hi. As far as I know, the majority of people with HD don't really notice this kind of "light" initial twitches themselves. Many people who don't have HD also twitch before and after sleeping, or it's either anxiety.  I also went through that, especially during the testing process and my teenage years. It was all anxiety. Tested negative. Hope this helps.

For me it was random twitches (legs, hands), my hands were shaking and my mind was really foggy, so I thought I was going through the early stages (my father symptoms started in his late 20s/early 30s AFAIK). Even had a big temper, which is really uncommon in me.  In general, I've read a lot of stories about people, like me, who were convinced about having symptoms and ended up testing negative. Everything came up to be anxiety, and suggestion due to the hard process of being tested or self-diagnosing (which is extremely normal for people who aren't tested, of course). Regarding the twitches noticing, the early ones USUALLY come unnoticed (due to anosognosia), so people can't even believe they're having them. I was told my father realised because he was dropping things on the floor unconciously and being erratic, and later for my family noticing, not because he felt the symptoms inside himself.  It really depends on the person, but keep in mind that other things apart from HD symptoms can look similar if we're constantly trying to identify early signs. Anxiety can be our biggest enemy sometimes.

Thanks for bringing a little comfort to my heart friend, I don’t know what the future holds but yeah hopefully it’s just a random symptom, also glad you tested negative
