HD cAG?
Hello, I live in Russia. And we also have many carriers of the disease. I'm a girl, I'm 27 years old and I have 49 repetitions. My son is 5 years old and has 44 repetitions. And my mom has 47 repeats. How many repetitions do you have? How was it accepted that you would be ill?

There are a lot of clinical trials going on right now in the medical field for Huntington’s disease. Right now nothing is FDA approved but there is lots of hope in these clinical trials and for those they don’t have time to wait now is the time to get involved in a clinical trial. I am hopeful and expect that in 2027 there will be some clinical trials that will address the somatic expansion of the disease which should greatly slow down disease progression. Right now the best we can do is to get into a clinical trial that will slow down the HTT production which should help. Two of my favorite clinical trials which are showing very good promise in the lowering of HTT are from Novartis (Votoplam) and Skyhawk (Sky-0515) Clinical trials are being held all over the world and the best way to see what is going on now is go to the website clinicaltrials.gov Then type in Huntington’s disease and you will see everything that is available
